engro chemical wins nfeh environment excellence award for 4th consecutive year

Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited has won the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) Environment Excellence Award on account of its excellent environmental performance and successful implementation of environmental and quality management systems.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Engro Chemical has won this prestigious award and speaks volumes about its efforts in preserving environment and committing itself in reducing the environmental footprint.
Mr. Khalid Siraj Subhani, Senior Vice President, Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited received the award on behalf of Engro Chemical.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Mr. Subhani said, “Winning the award is of course a matter of great pride for us and is a recognition of our environmental initiatives which gives us strength to strive for more”.
The NFEH organized the Conference on Environment for Development & 4th Annual
Environment Excellence Award Ceremony in Collaboration with Ministry of Environment – Islamabad, United Nations Environmental Program, Federation of Pakistan, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, & Monthly Energy Update.
The objectives of the conference are to create awareness about the latest methods on environment safety management, safety methods and to emphasize the duties, responsibilities, save the units/dept from accidents and damage by taking preventive and corrective measurement in order to increase overall productivity
